Well, here was an interesting, and long-term, set of projects. This has become almost and annual job for me, while at Scout Design.

TASTE! the County, Prince Edward County’s tourism initiative, helps co-ordinate the Taste Trail and Arts Trail guides and Visitor’s Guide, annually. This year the publication became a split, perfect-bound book and the Visitor’s Guide grew exponentially.

It was a pleasure as a designer to work with a great team at TASTE! and with individual members of each of the trails. It’s a lot of work gathering information and images together to put design this type of publication. But, their team rose to the challenge and so did the team I was working with.

Both publications, accompanied by a separate Trails and Experiences map, included their own maps and each page was devoted to an individual member. I think the finished product speaks for itself and often found myself speaking with tourists sharing their praise for the comprehensive guides.
